About Us
Thirty Steps to Forward is composed of Gretchen and Seth Powers a brother and sister acoustic folk duo out of southwest Michigan, United States. Through their strings and voices, the kindred duo strives to sing quiet songs of the delicate heart. Since completing their debut full length album The Bird and the Fool in the autumn of 2009 the two have used their voices, guitars, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and cello to pluck out the vein of modern music and replace it with that dusty heart.
They have recently finished their second full-length album Hinterland which is to be released on March 7th.
